Brad Brock

Worship Pastor

Brad is our worship Pastor and also the lucky man who married Nadine in 1976. They have 3 sons - Noah who is married to Cindy having a son Malachi; Mark who is married to SaraJane and they have Jake and Lizzy; and Luke.

Brad and his family moved to Santa Clarita in 1981 with the intention of planting a new church. They planned on attending Church of the Canyons once to get a feel for the community but were so struck by the kindness of the church that they never left. Soon Brad became the High School Director and he and Nadine have been involved in every ministry from nursery to adult Sunday school. Brad has been the worship leader at Church of the Canyons since 2001 and was commissioned as full time Worship Pastor December in 2008, leaving behind a 28 year carrier as a motion picture sound mixer. Brad was also an adjunct professor at Biola University from 1991 to 2003.

Brad's passion for adoring and thanking God goes back to 1972 when his youth pastor, Paul Sailhammer, taught him to sing a song called "God has Smiled on Me". Brad still sings that song during his private times of worship. Brad says he has the best job in the world.
